Alfred
Pisani is a successful hotelier
and founder of several luxury hotels
and resorts.
He is the founder and controlling
shareholder of the Corinthia Group
of Companies and has been the
Chairman and Chief Executive since
the companies inception in 1962. He
was responsible for the construction
of the Group's first hotel, the
Corinthia Palace in Attard, Malta .
Pisani has led the Corinthia Group
from a one-hotel company to a
diversified group which is currently
worth in the region of 2.7 billion
Euros and employs over 9,000 people
worldwide. His business interests
vary from equity participation,
management, development & ownership
of property and industrial catering,
all on the international scale.
Born and raised to an upper-middle
class family in Malta, his father
owned several businesses which the
Pisani brothers eventually sold to
help finance their business venture.
Pisani was educated at St Edwards
College.
Pisani currently resides in Malta
with his wife Maria and three
children, Alexandra, Marcus and
Rebecca. |
